When asked how the band came together, drummer Terry "TT" Taylor will tell you "the death of a friend". As singer/guitarist Jon Soda James may agree he also might say "burritos". Both being true as the two would be reunited after some years at a funeral for a friend. Two months after they would be airing out grievances over said burritos. You see, the two used to be in a project called (e)motion picture and, it did not end well. A little older and much wiser, January of 2020 would see them back in a studio on Long Island. Soda had a handful of songs, band name, and a vision so they began where they left off, not at all wanting to recreate the old project. Come March they were a 3-piece adding a second guitarist and then...pandemic. During the pandemic Soda continued to write, sending ideas around to the members and making very small strides. Non Covid related, he had become very sick and would be in and out of the hospital. Somehow the band survived. Come September they were back to rehearsals. The search for a bass player took nearly two months but by November they had found their missing piece in Clifford "Sugar Bear" Catropa. Throwing him right to the wolves, with two members injured the band demoed out material they had. Days after that the second guitarist was let go. Deciding to press on as a 3-piece is when progress and camaraderie would blossom. Soda had absolutely driven the boys crazy with the relentless changes he kept making to the songs that would be set aside for a record, but, it would all be worth it as late Winter '21 the band had won over and convinced Joey Z. of Life Of Agony to make a record for them. Throughout all of Spring, Summer and Autumn '21 the trio was very hard at work recording, making their own merch and building toward their debut as well as managing chaotic personal lives. The end result is a self-titled near masterpiece released March '22 that culminates two years of dedication, perseverance, hard work, laughter, tears and everything in between.
